Music Quote TidBit – Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga once said:

“I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I’d fail. I said to him, “Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee at the deli without hearing or seeing me.”

Clarkson, Ke$ha, Gaga, JT Music Stolen

You gotta love the young ones for creativity. An 18 year old has been BUSTED for hacking and stealing songs from Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha, Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga then selling them online to make some dough. How about $13,000 worth? The 18 year old is from Duisburg, German and STILL lives with his parents. He goes by the name of ‘DJ Stolen’ ( real name Deniz A.) and had a 23 year old accomplice (Christian M.) that he says “I haven’t heard from him for a while.”

Apparently he had attached a Trojan (no not the condom) to an MP3 file that was sent to the official addresses of the music stars, their managers and their record companies.

He says “I’m a fan and I just wanted to have cool music. I’m no blackmailer.”

If convicted he could be sentenced up to five years in prison.

It must be timing since she won a bunch of awards at the MTV VMA’s but Lady Gaga is releasing her own fragrance. She signed a deal with Coty to issue fragrances named after her. The first scent will come out sometime in the spring of 2010.

Grammy Award Performers

Green Day and Lady Gaga have been confirmed to play at this years Grammy Awards on January 31st.  Along with them, the Zac Brown Band, The Black Eyed Peas, the Dave Matthews Band, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Maxwell and others will be playing.  I hope its not too boring this year.  I don’t know, they seem to just be a bore these last couple years.
