The original ‘The Lost Tapes’ came out back in 2002 and we’ve been anxiously waiting for the next one. The Lost Tapes 2 is finally coming out on July 19th and like the first album, this will focus on unreleased tracks mostly from the ‘I Am…’ and the ‘Stillmatic’ albums. Here’s the track listing:

Pharrell Williams will serve as creative director for Karmaloop TV which will launch later this year. Karmaloop TV is a new network that will feature original productions and movies focused on the 18-34 year olds who grew up with the internet. Karmaloop CEO Greg Selkoe said Pharrell will help to create a brand that will get cutting-edge youth culture excited about TV like MTV did in the 80’s.
Pharrell Williams has started a new site for kids called Kidult. It’s a pretty interesting site. Here’s what his ‘about’ says
Kidult is a news and entertainment website for teens created by Pharrell Williams. Inspired by his young fans, he believed they deserved a website that respected their intelligence and covered their diverse interests—from science to fashion. It’s the site Pharrell wishes he had when he was a teenager. Most of the other kids didn’t get him and it was always more fun to have conversations with adults. With kidult.com, Pharrell introduces a place where the stories reflect your life and interests, but don’t talk down to you. After all, Pharrell knows you’re ready to rule the world. Just when you thought Pharrell has done it all, he comes up with scoring the music for the animated movie ‘Despicable Me’ due out in July. This is his first for scoring a movie but I somehow seem him doing more. You might have already heard the song since its been out there for a few months but here it is.
