From Doctor to Blues Singer – Hugh Laurie
I don’t know how this will be but “House” TV star Hugh Laurie is putting out an album of New Orleans blues. I remember him playing some guitar on some episodes but apparently he plays piano on Meat Loaf’s new album “Hang Cool Teddy Bear”. He met Meat Loaf when he was on an episode of House. Hugh said in a statement:
“I am drunk with excitement at this opportunity. I know the history of actors making music is a checkered one, but I promise no one will get hurt. I am particularly thrilled to be working with Joe Henry, who has produced some of my favorite records of all time, and I can’t wait to get started.”
