Rock Bands Rockin’ Sales
The makers of the video game Rock Band have revealed that after only 15 months of business, they have surpassed $1billion in North American retail sales ALONE! In 2008 Rock Band was “the number one title of 2008 by revenue across all game genres.” but looking at 2007’s Guitar Hero III, it was the first video game ever to break the billion-dollar barrier. So this is nuts since Guitar Hero: Metallica and The Beatles Rock Band haven’t even affected those figures. That’s just a ton of money.
