Damn am I excited about this. On May 22nd Sade is releasing a DVD/CD and Blu-ray titled ‘Bring Me Home – Live 2011’ which chronicles her 2011 54 date tour.

“Initially I didn’t want to do it, because I had this feeling that it was a great moment and I was afraid we couldn’t convey the atmosphere and the feeling of the whole tour. There’s always that fear and trepidation. But you have no choice but to go on because you’re in it.”

On the possibility of more music or another tour:

“I’ve got some plans for some projects that I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I think I’ve got a lot of energy. As far as music goes, that’s something that I’m not very pragmatic about. I let it sort of appear and grab me. It could be two years or 10 years. I don’t make plans like that. It somehow happens.”

Sade’s tour is off an running as of June 19th and the reviews are saying its a stunning event.  She does a 120 minute set of all the favorites with a huge LED screen behind the band.  John Legend is opening for all of the tour dates.  If you get a chance to see her, do it.

After 10 years Sade is finally coming around to do a tour. After her latest album ‘Soldier of Love’ sold 1.3 million copies, she’ll head out on tour beginning on June 16, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland. Here’s here tour dates so far:

Great song from the amazingly beautiful Sade. Here’s ‘Babyfather’ off her new album.

I’m so happy to hear this. Sade has gone to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 selling 502,000 copies. This is her second No. 1 album after her album “Promise” back in 1986. Plus get this, this is her eighth top 10 album in a row. Pretty amazing for being off the charts for 10 years.

Finally we have a date for Sade’s sixth album.  It’s coming out on February 8th and it’s titled ‘Soldier of Love’.  Perfectly in time for Valentine’s Day.  No other details but you know I’ll be on it.

YES, finally SADE is putting out a new album.  Her last album was the great “Lovers Rock” back in 2000 and man is that album just beautiful.  I’ve been buying her albums since 1985’s Diamond Life and its’ so tough to wait so long in between albums but ……..they are always worth it.  It’s just amazing that she can wait so long in between albums and yet still sell over 3 million albums each time they come out.  No release date of yet.  I CAN’T WAIT.
