Definitive Jux “Put on Hiatus”

The great label El-P started back in 1999, Definitive Jux, is going on Hiatus.  The rumors of the label closing down are false as El-P says:

“We are not closing, but we are changing. The process is already underway, and the last several months (for those wondering what the hell we’ve been up to) have been spent dealing with the technical aspects of wrapping up the label in it’s current form and re-imagining our collective and individual futures”

Some of the great artists on the label are Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Aesop Rock, Dizzee Rascal along with past artists MURS, Mr. Lif, Cannibal Ox, RJD2 and many others. Hope they keep things going cause some sweet music came out of this label.
