Suge Knight Claims Tupac Was Gay!

WTF is wrong with this loser Suge Knight. He’ll say anything to try and be relevant. Suge has been going around saying that Tupac ended his professional relationship with a certain rapper because he thought the rapper was gay. Now Tupac’s family is saying its totally false since Tupac was close friends with designer Gianni Versace, who was an openly gay guy.

This story just sucks all the way around. Fk off Suge Knight. Someone needs to knock this fool out again.

Bob Dylan To Get Medal

No he’s not going Metal, but he is getting an actual medal. The Presidential Medal of Freedom to be exact. He is among 13 recipients to get this award in the spring of this year at the White House.

The award is the nations highest civilian honor to individuals who “have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”

President Obama stated in a press release

“These extraordinary honorees come from different backgrounds and different walks of life, but each of them has made a lasting contribution to the life of our Nation They’ve challenged us, they’ve inspired us, and they’ve made the world a better place. I look forward to recognizing them with this award.”

Sade DVD/CD Coming

Damn am I excited about this. On May 22nd Sade is releasing a DVD/CD and Blu-ray titled ‘Bring Me Home – Live 2011′ which chronicles her 2011 54 date tour.

“Initially I didn’t want to do it, because I had this feeling that it was a great moment and I was afraid we couldn’t convey the atmosphere and the feeling of the whole tour. There’s always that fear and trepidation. But you have no choice but to go on because you’re in it.”

On the possibility of more music or another tour:

“I’ve got some plans for some projects that I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I think I’ve got a lot of energy. As far as music goes, that’s something that I’m not very pragmatic about. I let it sort of appear and grab me. It could be two years or 10 years. I don’t make plans like that. It somehow happens.”

Ringo & Dave Stewart Movie

Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Ringo Starr are creating a musical called ‘Hole in the Fence’. Both of the came up with the idea on the script based on their own childhoods of kids who form a band in a depressed mining town. They both will serve as songwriters and executive producers. No word on when it’s coming out.

There is so much news and interviews out there, I think in order to offer more info on the site, I’ll throw some other stuff out there. So if I see a cool one, I’ll post a few words on it then send you a link to the full interview. Hope you guys like.

Do you have any tools you need around you when you’re writing songs?

“Just a guitar or piano. I generally write the rhythm and the chords first, then find the melody, then the lyrics – I write in that order 90% of the time. The music is generally first, then I have to find the lyrics to fit.”

LMFAO Handed Lawsuit

Aww damn … right before LMFAO walked into the American Idol studio they were served with at $7 million lawsuit by their former management company Rpm. Rpm claims that after they signed them and they got huge, they were trying to be cut from their contract. The suit also claims that both of the guys in LMFAO took some of the Rpm employees and paid them to be their managers.

Sounds pretty crazy. Good luck with that!
