Damn am I excited about this. On May 22nd Sade is releasing a DVD/CD and Blu-ray titled ‘Bring Me Home – Live 2011’ which chronicles her 2011 54 date tour.

“Initially I didn’t want to do it, because I had this feeling that it was a great moment and I was afraid we couldn’t convey the atmosphere and the feeling of the whole tour. There’s always that fear and trepidation. But you have no choice but to go on because you’re in it.”

On the possibility of more music or another tour:

“I’ve got some plans for some projects that I’ve been thinking about for a long time. I think I’ve got a lot of energy. As far as music goes, that’s something that I’m not very pragmatic about. I let it sort of appear and grab me. It could be two years or 10 years. I don’t make plans like that. It somehow happens.”

Finally a first ever Talking Heads DVD anthology. This shows some great performances from a 1975 CBGB gig to a 1983 Letterman appearance and everything in between. Here’s a link if you want to check out more.

While Adele is dealing with her throat issues, she’ll be releasing a live DVD/Blu Ray on November 29th. ‘Live At The Royal Albert Hall’ is a 90 minute performance along with behind the scenes footage. It also comes with a live CD of the show. Here’s the tracklisting:

Last weekend Slash played at the Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent, England and he filmed it for a new DVD. He played solo tracks, Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver and Slash’s Snakepit. Look for it in October.

Come March, Green Day is finally releasing their live CD they talked about a few months back. The live CD with also come with a DVD, to be called ‘Awesome as Fuck’. This will be the second live release for Green Day since 2005’s ‘Bullet in a Bible’. Here’s the trailer.

Due out in March 2011, Nikki Sixx is releasing his follow up book to ‘The Heroin Diaries’ called ‘This is Gonna Hurt’. It will also include a documentary and a soundtrack album by his band ‘Sixx:AM’. It was described by his publisher as “part photo, part journal, but all Nikki Sixx.

Back on July 4, 1996, Tupac had a concert at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles that also featured Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, K-Ci & JoJo, Tha Dogg Pound and Outlawz. Unfortunately it was his last since two months later, Tupac passed on. Its 118 minutes of pure hip hop with 24 tracks and five bonus songs. Eagle Rock Entertainment will put out the DVD of Tupacs last live show on May 25th titled ‘Tupac: Live at the House of Blues’. Here’s the track listing:

Damn I can’t wait for this. Clutch is releasing a two-disc DVD called ‘Live At The 9:30’ with one DVD of their live show on December 28, 2009 at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. The other DVD titled ‘Fortune Tellers Make A Killing Nowadays’ is a documentary of the band’s history with footage of their second ever live show in October 1991.

The White Stripes will be releasing their first ever live album on cd and vinyl. This was from their 2007 summer tour in Canada they did. Also they are putting out a documentary called “Under Great White Northern Lights” which documents their journey through this tour in Canada. Should be pretty cool.

The Specials are putting out a live DVD from their 30th Anniversary Tour from their performance at Wolverhampton Civic Hall back in November 2009.  Aside from the performance there is also rehearsals, backstage footage and interviews.

Reelin’ In The Years Productions is releasing the first four DVD’s of the new British Invasion series in March.

Each DVD will have complete TV performances by each artist at the time they were at their peak.  They will also come with 24 page booklets with previously unseen photos and memorabilia.
