Henry Rollins Gives Back to his Fans

Last week while performing in Toronto, Henry Rollins was receiving a bunch of complaints about how high the ticket prices were for his tickets. After he had people check into it, he realized there was a computer error and it overcharged about $10 for each ticket. Then he goes out to the audience and kicks down $10 to everyone that shows him their ticket. That’s pretty sick!

MNTB Classic Pic – Johnny Cash

I’m pretty sure you’ve seen it.  It’s been around forever and people have been doing it in front of the camera ever since.  Jim Marshall, who took the photograph in 1969 at Cash’s San Quentin Prison performance, asked Cash to do a shot for the warden.  Then Cash flipped the finger and Jim took the photo.  I love hearing the stories behind the photographs.

“I didn’t mind when something like that happened with The Grey Album. But the record company minded. They put up a fuss. But it was like, ‘Take it easy guys, it’s a tribute.’”

Damn, he makes me love him more and more.

Ian Gillan said “I guess it’s about time, isn’t it? So we’re gonna get together and have a writing session quite soon. And if we get excited, then we’ll probably have another album shortly after that.
