Bieber Gone From The Internet

This is freaken Awesome. Some guy in Toronto developed a program that you can get on your Firefox browser that will cover up any online reference to Justin Bieber. It’s called ‘Shaved Bieber’ and was created by Greg Leuch.

Of course Bieber fans are just besides themselves. They are now issuing death threats to the creator of the program. But he’s now getting requests to build more of these programs for other stars that people are sick and tired of seeing everywhere online.

Thats good shit right there!

VH1′s Behind The Music Back Again

VH1′s Behind The Music is back again beginning on June 7 at 8:00pm. This round of musicians will include J-Lo, Jennifer Hudson, Eve, Christina Aguilera, Courtney Love, Usher and will start off with DMX. This DMX one I’m looking forward to the most. With all his crazy ass antics with drugs and the police it should be a good one.

You might have already heard but Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails has started a new band with his wife ‘Mariqueen Maandig’ called ‘How to Destroy Angels’. Here’s a track from their album called ‘The Space In Between’. It’s nice and dark…just how I like it.

Naughty By Nature are heading over to the Persian Gulf for a USO Tour with the original lineup of DJ Kay Gee, Vin Rock and Treach. Not only will they sing their hits ‘Hip Hop Hooray’ and ‘O.P.P.’ but they will also debut songs from their new album ‘Anthem Inc.’; their first album since 1999. Treach says “This new album is definitely gonna take you back, but just like we always did, we’ve invented a new sound, a bunch of new flows and after being without an album for so long, we’ve gotta lotta things to say.”

Mary J. Blige to Play Nina Simone

Mary J. Blige is going to play the great Nina Simone on an upcoming movie. The movie will focus on Simone’s relationship with her assistant Clifton Henderson. Nina was one of the greatest in my opinion. She was a songwriter, pianist and civil rights activist. She really wanted to be a pianist but in order to get jobs she was pretty much forced into singing as well.

This will be interesting to see Blige play Simone. Simone has been known to be quite feisty when on stage.

Ronnie James Dio – GONE!

Ronnie James Dio has died due to stomach cancer on Sunday May 16th at 7:45am. He was only 67 years old but has the disease since he announced it back on November 25, 2009.

Dio was in Elf, Blackmore’s Rainbow, Black Sabbath and his own band Dio with his most recent band being Heaven & Hell. All these bands over the course of an amazing 53 years of his career. Can you believe he was the one that really popularized the ‘devil’s horns’?

RIP Dio. Best wishes to the rest of his family.

Bret Michaels New Show

Damn the guy comes back from the dead and he’s got another reality show. He’s never going away my friends. His new show ‘Bret Michaels: Life As I know It’ was scheduled to come out this month but of course due to his appendectomy and brain hemorrhage, its getting pushed back to a later date. It’s going to be 10 half-hour episodes that will show life after the concerts and parties where he comes home to his kids Raine and Jorja.

I ain’t gonna lie, I watched Rock of Love and I kinda liked him in Celebrity Apprentice. Should be a good show.

1966 Beatles Press Conference

A 14-minute reel-to-reel tape recording of the August 17, 1996 press conference by The Beatles at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto is up for auction at Bonhams & Butterfields. This is the recording of where John Lennon said the band was more popular than Jesus. The tapes were made by a young photojournalist who attended the press conference. He tried to sell them back in 1966 but nobody cared for them so they sat in a drawer for over 40 years. It’s reported to sell between $20k to $25k at the June 13th auction in Los Angeles.
